Mended of five joining fragments found on the Acropolis. Preserved are thirty four lines of an honorary decree as well as the decorative relief.

The decree written in the Attic alphabet was published and erected when the Eponymous Archon was most possibly Theokles as may be deduced by the surviving ending […]ΚΛΗΣ who was in office in 103/2 BC although some researchers suggest Prokles, Archon in 98/7 BC.

According to the text, during an assembly that took place at the Theatre of Dionysos the Athenian Citizens Assembly honoured the Ergastinai at their fathers’ request. They asserted that their daughters had properly fulfilled the duties with which the state had entrusted them and, aside from that, they dedicated to the goddess from their own funds a silver phiale worth one hundred drachms, a substantial amount for the time.

The extensive list that follows although not preserved intact records more than fifty girls’ forenames and family names, according to the tribe to which each belonged, along with the deme in which they lived. Some of them are also found in other catalogues as many of the girls served further Athena as Arrhephoroi or kanephoroi ("basket-bearers").

The relief crowning the decree is in the form of a pediment adorned with akroteria and decorated with acanthus leaves and a round button-shaped ornament.
